Getting Started

FundX Newsletter gives you the tools you need to manage your fund and ETF portfolio.

Globe

We've screened the fund universe to find funds that you'll want to own. We focus on noload funds and ETFs that are open to new investors, available at most brokers and trade well.

tachometer

Funds are grouped by risk, not style. You can choose funds from five risk classes, ranging from Class 1’s aggressive stock funds to Class 5’s bond funds.

Rank

Funds are ranked by recent returns, and the top-ranked funds are the funds to buy now. When a fund falls into the Sells, you'll replace it with a new top fund – a process we call Upgrading.

First Steps

The best investing is tailored to your personal goals and circumstances, so you’ll want to think about the following:

  • What are your investment goals?
  • How much risk is right for you? Consider both your risk tolerance and risk needs.
  • What's your target allocation to stocks and bonds?
  • Do you have any tax considerations to consider?
  • What are your broker's trading fees?
